In other batting news, Taylar Cody was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Meg Jennings, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Indianapolis Scecina Memorial struck out eight times.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Warren Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
