The Baldwin Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Oakleaf Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
Baldwin can't be too worried about heading out to take on Oakleaf: they just beat Atlantic Coast at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Indians were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Stingrays on Thursday. Considering the Indians have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Hayden Peebles was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Meanwhile, Oakleaf posted their closest win since March 20th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Ridgeview, sneaking past 5-3. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Charlotte Maddox made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Maddox was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
