Norman is 10-0 against Norman North since March of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Last Tuesday, Norman blew past Northwest Classen, posting a 62-29 win on the road. That 62-29 margin sets a new team best for Norman this season.
Keeley Parks was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Norman's points. Ady Hybl was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, Norman North was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 55-50 to Midwest City. Norman North has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Norman now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Norman North, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Norman strolled past Norman North in their previous matchup back in March by a score of 62-47. Will Norman repeat their success, or does Norman North have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
