West Washington found their leader in underclassman Jayla Batt, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Ava Woods was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
When it comes to explaining why Paoli lost, one person who can't be blamed is Carley Higgins. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 43.2% of Paoli's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
