There's no place like home for Dos Palos, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Avenal Buccaneers with a sharp 13-3 win on Tuesday. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Breann Raney made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Dos Palos let Liliana DelaRosa and Athena Correa run wild. DelaRosa went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and two runs, while Correa went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those four RBI gave DelaRosa a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Brinkley, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Dos Palos kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Dos Palos pushed their record up to 12-8-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Avenal, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-5-1.

Dos Palos wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 17-1 victory against Mendota on the 2nd. As for Avenal, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-2 defeat against Coalinga on the 2nd.
