The Tygarts Valley Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 67-60 to Clay-Battelle. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (59), Tygarts Valley still had to take the loss.
Tygarts Valley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ethan Mcgee, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds, and Kaden Moore who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcgee has scored all season. Malachi Somers was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Tygarts Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Clay-Battelle, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

South Harrison has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 2.
