After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Auburn, the Timberline Blazers were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 68-35 victory over Capital at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-15.
Timberline was led to victory by Kaydn Ward and Kenyon Simmons. Ward scored 11 points along with five assists and four steals, while Simmons scored 14 points along with five assists. The game was Ward's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Tichenor, who scored nine points along with four steals.

Timberline won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pacifica Christian/Orange County at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th. Hopefully Pacifica Christian/Orange County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Wednesday. Capital will be home for the holidays to greet Yelm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Yelm is ranked 254th, while Capital is ranked 248th).
