Brewbaker Tech had a senior duo take command as Johnathan Williams scored 26 points along with 7 rebounds and Kevin Honer scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Honer has scored at least 25% of Brewbaker Tech's points. Songhay Dumas was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Brewbaker Tech's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for LAMP, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brewbaker Tech will square off against Booker T. Washington Magnet on Saturday. Booker T. Washington Magnet comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for LAMP, they will head out on the road to face off against Alabama Christian Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
