For the first time this season, Pinewood Prep will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will welcome the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pinewood Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Hilton Head Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
Pinewood Prep will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Laurence Manning Academy, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers put the hurt on the Swampcats with a sharp 50-25 victory on Friday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 25 points or more this season.
Silas Brawner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 367 yards and four TDs while picking up 15.3 yards per attempt. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jayden Alexander was Brawner's top target, picking up 109 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
