The Englewood Rams had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wolfson on Wednesday and snuck past 38-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Englewood has posted yet this season.
Englewood can attribute much of their success to Nima Kargbo, who scored 15 points.
Englewood's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11. As for Wolfson, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Englewood won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Parker at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Parker comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Wolfson's road trip will continue as they head out to face First Coast at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd. First Coast will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
