The Conway Springs Cardinals lost against the Great Bend Panthers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Conway Springs fell 42-35 to Great Bend.
Conway Springs' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Macie Hartman, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Melissa Ebenkamp, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Conway Springs now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Great Bend, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Conway Springs will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Haven at 3:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Great Bend, they will face off against Kingman on Friday.
