Magnet Cove entered their tilt with Paris on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 28-20 victory over the Eagles. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Magnet Cove's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Paris, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Magnet Cove is taking a road trip to challenge Cutter-Morning Star at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.38 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Paris, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Beavers have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
