Horizon has gone a perfect 4-0 against Ocoee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Hawks will challenge the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Horizon will be strutting in after a win while Ocoee will be coming in after a loss.
Horizon proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 15) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Boone 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

04/11/25 @ Windermere | 10 |
04/08/25 vs East Ridge | 8 |
Mackenzie Duncan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Horizon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Lamb, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Lila Hernandez was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Horizon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher in five consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Ocoee suffered their biggest defeat since February 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 9-1 to St. Cloud. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Horizon's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Ocoee, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Ocoee's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Horizon has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11.5 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Ocoee, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Horizon keep running through batters, or will the Knights buck the trend?
Horizon took their victory against Ocoee in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
