The ISchool of Lewisville Cougar can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 68-55 victory over Simeon. The win was just what iSchool of Lewisville needed coming off of a 83-54 loss in their prior matchup.
Leading iSchool of Lewisville to victory were Kal-El McNeilly and Jaylen Lawal. McNeilly scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Lawal scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McNeilly has scored all season. David Iweze was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals and two blocks.
ISchool of Lewisville's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Simeon, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
ISchool of Lewisville will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. As for Simeon, they will head out on the road to face off against Englewood Stem at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Englewood Stem is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
