After flying high against the Silo Rebels on Thursday, the Broken Bow Savages came back down to earth. Broken Bow fell 66-55 to Marlow on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Marlow got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Parker Boyles out in front who scored 21 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Boyles has scored at least 25% of Marlow's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Harris, who scored 15 points.
Broken Bow's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Marlow, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marlow and Pocola will face off on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pocola is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
