The Bruceville-Eddy Eagles suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 61-41 defeat at the hands of Meyer. Bruceville-Eddy has not had much luck with Meyer recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Nathan Maxile was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals for Meyer. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Maxile has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ve'shawn Long, who scored ten points along with six steals.
Bruceville-Eddy's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Meyer, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.
Bruceville-Eddy will head out on the road to face off against Crawford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Crawford will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Meyer will take on Chilton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
