Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hudson Catholic). They blew past the Lincoln Lions 18-1 on Monday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Javier Garcia, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sandy Antonio, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Hudson Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Hudson Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-14. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
