After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Snow Hill, Arcadia was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers with a sharp 43-23 victory. The Firebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season.

Arcadia is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Isle of Wight Academy, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Arcadia will face off against Peninsula Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arcadia is facing Peninsula Catholic at the right time seeing as Peninsula Catholic is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Isle of Wight Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Broadwater Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 31st.
