Softball Recap: Bellefonte's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bellefonte had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Raiders have won four matches by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bellefonte's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Hollidaysburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellefonte will square off against Somerset at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hollidaysburg, they will face off against Chestnut Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Lions have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
