Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Kera Dunham, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Cadence Dunham, who scored 12 points along with three blocks.
Salt Fork's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for North Vermillion, they bumped their record down to 4-6 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Salt Fork and North Vermillion were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, but Salt Fork came up empty-handed after a 35-34 loss.
