Leading Shawnee Mission Christian to victory were Emily Kleczka and Jeydan Umberger. Kleczka scored 13 points along with five rebounds, while Umberger dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. Umberger is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Anderson, who scored two points along with three steals.
Shawnee Mission Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Blue Ridge Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.

As for Blue Ridge Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Daniel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Daniel Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
