North Central AA recap October 8, 2013
Southeast of Saline extended the longest winning streak in North Central AA this week by beating Russell, 55-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Southeast of Saline took down the Broncos 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Cody Schlesener threw for 118 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 36 yards in the win.
Clayton Wetter provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Sacred Heart topped Minneapolis. Wetter's favorite target this week was Kane Comfort, who caught 2 passes for 41 yards.
Wetter was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 188 yards on 6 carries as the Knights beat Russell. Trevor Webb also contributed to the rushing game with 96 yards on the ground.
Southeast of Saline's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Schlesener has thrown for 666 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Matthew Helvey has 14 catches for 282 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Southeast of Saline takes on second place Beloit.

Ellsworth made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,732 from 9,397. The advance stemmed from a 72-21 victory over the Bearcats last week.
