Riverdale posted their closest win since March 26, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls, sneaking past 3-1. For the Rebels, this counts as revenge for the 7-1 victory the Swamp Owls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Riverdale has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs over those games.
