The Exploration Explorers will be playing at home against the Metro College Prep Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Exploration had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Recording Arts/Avalon by a score of 62-59.
Meanwhile, Metro College Prep gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 57-31 margin over Ubah Medical Academy.
Siyad Dubow was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Munassar Ali, who scored 11 points.
Exploration's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Metro College Prep, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
