The Christ Prep Academy Patriots will challenge the Faith Christian Academy Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Christ Prep Academy made easy work of Kansas City Christian School and carried off a 15-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Noah Wagner looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cade Elder was incredible, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Davis, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Christ Prep Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian Academy got themselves on the board against King City back in March, but King City never followed suit. They came out on top against the Wildkats by a score of 10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Christ Prep Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Faith Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
