King's Christian is a perfect 5-0 against The Christian Academy since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will look to defend their home field against The Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. King's Christian will be strutting in after a win while The Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.
King's Christian came out on top against Gloucester County Christian on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Knights took their game against the Conquerors 9-6. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Conquerors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bridet Levandoski was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off 13 hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Ada PIckard was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Ava Garcia, who went 4-for-5 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run.
King's Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, The Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Dock Mennonite, falling 17-3.
Tori Townsend made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
The Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for King's Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
The Christian Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: King's Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .374. It's a different story for The Christian Academy, though, as they've only averaged .215. Will they be able to contain King's Christian's hitters?
King's Christian took their win against The Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 20-9 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do The Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
