Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
A Season-Best Performance from Julian Mcmahan Leads Monte Vista over Bishop O'dowd
Monte Vista came up short on Friday despite Julian McMahan delivering his best game to date. McMahan rushed for 307 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 120 or more in the last three games he's played.
Bishop O'Dowd's probably not too fond of McMahan given he always seems to get the better of them. When McMahan last faced the Dragons back in September, he rushed for 209 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry.
