Tabernacle Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Community Christian Eagles at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
A well-balanced attack led Tabernacle Christian over Washington Catholic in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Tabernacle Christian took down Washington Catholic 60-43. The win was just what Tabernacle Christian needed coming off of a 67-44 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Community Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 72-39 win over Union on the road. The win was a breath of fresh air for Community Christian as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Tabernacle Christian's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Community Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.
Tabernacle Christian beat Community Christian 50-37 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tabernacle Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
