Meanwhile, Weldon Valley was the victim of a tough 46-26 loss at the hands of Flagler last Saturday. Weldon Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Weldon Valley had strong showings from Haylee Nelson, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds, and Skylar Scott, who scored 9 points along with 3 blocks.
The losses dropped Arickaree to 1-2 and Front Range Baptist to 1-4.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Arickaree have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29 rebounds per game.
