Bushland barely beat Tulia the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons blew past the Hornets 14-1 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Colton Reynolds was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Max Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Bushland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bushland has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Tulia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10-1 record this season.

Bushland will be playing in front of their home fans against River Road at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. Tulia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
