Cardinal Spellman has gone a perfect 3-0 against Rockland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cardinals will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. The timing isn't great for Cardinal Spellman: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Rockland has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Cardinal Spellman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Flaherty, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI. Another was John Petruzzo, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Rockland hadn't done well against Abington recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Green Wave by a score of 9-6. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly three runs.
Hayden Hatch made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Rockland: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 2-4 otherwise. Hatch was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.
In other batting news, Colin Rau was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Rockland is undefeated when Rau posts three or more hits, but 2-5 otherwise. Cooper Larouco was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Rockland is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cardinal Spellman, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
Cardinal Spellman skirted past Rockland 4-2 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
