The Browning Indians won the last time they faced the Butte Central Catholic Maroons, and things went their way on Saturday too. Browning blew past Butte Central Catholic 67-24 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-14.
Browning's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josey Michael, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Jerel White Grass was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Browning and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Butte Central Catholic, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Browning's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hardin at 4:30 p.m. on December 15th. Butte Central Catholic and Polson will face off at 4:00 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
