The Cedar View Christian Seahawks lost against the Berean Academy Eagle back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Cedar View Christian was the victim of a tough 53-32 defeat at the hands of Berean Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cedar View Christian has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Berean Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Austen Harvey, who scored 16 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Harvey also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Barret Hasley, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Cedar View Christian bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for Berean Academy, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Cedar View Christian will be playing at home against White Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. White Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Berean Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Hixson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hixson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 397th, while Berean Academy is ranked 164th).
