There's no place like home for Orleans, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Mitchell Bluejackets 50-16 on Thursday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Orleans to victory were Callie Alston and Mylie Knight. Alston went 7 for 10 en route to 17 points and three steals, while Knight dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Alston continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Savannah Russell was another key player, putting up five points and three steals.

Orleans smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Orleans' win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Mitchell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Orleans has already played their next contest (against North Daviess), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mitchell has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Clarksville.
