Franklin put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Oliver Ames as the squad secured a 42-0 win. They can consider this payback for the 22-40 defeat they dealt Franklin the last time the teams encountered one another.
The victory bumped Franklin's record up to 3-1. Oliver Ames are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Franklin take on King Philip Regional at King Philip HS Field at 7:00 PM. Franklin will be strutting in after a win while King Philip Regional will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Oliver Ames, they will face off against Attleboro. Oliver Ames have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Attleboro are surely hoping to exploit.
