Piedmont's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Saint Mary's, their record now sits at 6-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Piedmont will welcome Hayward  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Farmers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.33  runs per game on average), something the Highlanders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Saint Mary's, they will be playing at home against Albany  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.8  runs per game this season.
