After a string of three wins, the Lindale Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Chapel Hill by a score of 4-3. Lindale was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Chapel Hill apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.
Lindale's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Chapel Hill, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-2.
Lindale will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Grand Saline at 7:15 p.m. Lindale is facing Grand Saline at the right time seeing as Grand Saline is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Chapel Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Mineola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mineola is coming into the game with three straight defeats at home, meaning Chapel Hill will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
