Defeat or not, Maret got some senior leadership from Kennedy Austin and London Liley. Austin dropped a double-double on 16 points and 17 boards, while Liley posted 23 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Austin's evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nora Dowd, who earned six points.
Even though they lost, Maret smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 22 consecutive contests.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Maret has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 36 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Sidwell Friends struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.2 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Maret suffered a grim 68-46 defeat to Sidwell Friends when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Jackson, who went 13 of 20 en route to 29 points and eight rebounds. Now that Maret knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
