Leading Latta to victory were Shawniza Bethea and Kardae Mcfadden. Bethea scored 17 points along with six steals and five rebounds, while Mcfadden dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Bethea has scored at least a third of Latta's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Hyatt, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Green Sea Floyds has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Latta, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

As for Latta, they will head out on the road to take on East Clarendon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Clarendon will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
