Seaford was led to victory by Kashmier Wise and Jordan Smith. Wise scored 18 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Smith scored 27 points along with three steals. The game was Smith's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jazonte Levan was another key contributor, scoring two points along with 14 rebounds and eight steals.
Seaford's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.89 points. As for Pocomoke, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
Seaford will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Wicomico at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Wicomico will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 114th in Maryland, while Seaford is ranked 24th in Delaware). As for Pocomoke, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. Decatur has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 449 points over their last six matchups.
