If Woodland was expecting to get some payback for the 24-7 defeat against East Paulding the last time they met in October of last year, then they were left disappointed. Woodland fell just short of East Paulding by a score of 17-14. The Wildcats can't seem to catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.
Woodland's overall record now falls to 1-8. The win was the third in a row for the Raiders and raised their record to 3-6.
The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against Kell at 7:30 p.m. ET next week. The Wildcats are the favorite here -- although they were the favorites in their last matchup, too, so the odds might count for a little less. As for the Raiders, they will face off against Villa Rica at 7:30 p.m. ET. Villa Rica is also hoping to continue their momentum after a victory last Friday.
