A Season-Best Performance from Kaegan Chambers Leads Monroe over Piedmont
Kaegan Chambers produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Monroe to the win on Friday. Chambers threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns.
Chambers might have his next game, a home matchup with West Stanly, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Chambers saw the Colts), he rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns.

Smith Made His Presence Known in Forest Hills' 50-7 Victory
Rodney Smith was instrumental in extending Forest Hills's winning streak to three on Friday. Smith did his part (and then some), rushing for 96 yards and a touchdown on only six carries for the 'W'. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 55 yards.

Kendrick Maye Dazzles in Anson Win
Anson found a leader in Kendrick Maye as the team took down West Stanly on Friday. Maye was unstoppable, rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also picking up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Maye has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 33.2 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 13.

Jazear Griffin Makes It Two for Anson
Keeping Maye company is Jazear Griffin, a fellow Anson player. He rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
West Stanly's probably not too fond of Griffin given he always seems to get the better of them. Griffin rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries the last time he and the Colts duked it out back in October of 2023.
