Carmichaels is 0-8 against the Rangers since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Carmichaels Mighty Mikes will head out on the road to face off against the Fort Cherry Rangers at 7:30 p.m. Carmichaels will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 727th, while the Rangers are ranked 308th).
Last Friday, Carmichaels came up short against the Commodores and fell 42-34.
Meanwhile, Fort Cherry unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to Chartiers-Houston on the road by a decisive 86-68 margin. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Carmichaels has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Fort Cherry, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5.
Carmichaels was taken down by the Rangers 68-35 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Carmichaels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
