The Edgemont Moguls will head out on the road to square off against the Oelrichs Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Tuesday, Edgemont suffered a rough 67-44 defeat at the hands of Hulett. Edgemont has not had much luck with Hulett recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Edgemont's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Keaton Darrow, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Sebastian Morse who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Darrow is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Chase Alexander was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Meanwhile, sadly, Oelrichs is still looking for their first win of the season after 13 games. They took a serious blow against Edgemont on Monday, falling 69-36.
Edgemont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Oelrichs, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Edgemont against Oelrichs in their previous meeting on Monday as the squad secured a 69-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Edgemont since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
