The Front Range Christian Falcons will head out to face off against the SkyView Academy Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Front Range Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.
Front Range Christian took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Byers, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since April 26, 2025.

Max Morton made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Front Range Christian is 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise. Morton was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Haedan Morton, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Micah Parker, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, SkyView Academy made easy work of Fort Lupton on Friday and carried off a 7-1 win. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.
Luke Ballain was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Clay Cosart, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one double.
SkyView Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Lupton only posted a batting average of .130.
SkyView Academy pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Front Range Christian, their record now sits at 9-7.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Front Range Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like SkyView Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
