After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Brindlee Mountain finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Elkmont Red Devils, falling 25-1. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brindlee Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Elkmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

While Brindlee Mountain had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
