Sacred Heart of Jesus is 6-0 against Carroll Academy since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Sacred Heart of Jesus Knights' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Carroll Academy Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on November 30th. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Monday, Sacred Heart of Jesus came up short against St. Benedict at Auburndale and fell 59-52.
Despite the defeat, Sacred Heart of Jesus got a solid performance out of Ron Brison, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds. The game was Brison's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andre Bell, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Carroll Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Adamsville, falling 86-23.
With Sacred Heart of Jesus' win and St. Benedict at Auburndale's loss, both teams now sport identical 2-2 records.
Everything came up roses for Sacred Heart of Jesus against Carroll Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 74-23 victory.
