Delaware Valley hasn't had much luck against North Pocono recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Warriors will welcome the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Delaware Valley sitting on six straight victories and North Pocono on four.
Delaware Valley lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Scranton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's contest. The Warriors blew past the Knights 10-3 on Saturday.

Frank Pedone was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Delaware Valley is 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-5 otherwise. Pedone was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Trey Newton, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Londyn Hernandez was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Delaware Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, North Pocono sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over Wallenpaupack Area on Saturday.
Jake Reese was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.
North Pocono's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Delaware Valley, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Delaware Valley might still be hurting after the 10-3 defeat they got from North Pocono in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
