After flying high against the Oasis Christian Lions last Monday, the Discovery Spartans came back down to earth. Discovery fell to Ridgeview Global Studies Academy 23-18. The match was a 11-11 toss-up at halftime, but Discovery was outscored by Ridgeview Global Studies Academy in the second.
Ridgeview Global Studies Academy was led to victory by Stephanie Morales and Claire Curry . Morales scored 11 points along with 5 steals, while Curry scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Discovery now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Discovery has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Lakeland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on November 28th. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Osceola at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
