Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter made easy work of Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock last Friday and carried off a 47-18 win. No one put up better numbers for Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter than senior Nathan Weigel, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 174 yards and 3 touchdowns. This marked the 7th contest in which Weigel has rushed for over 100 yards.
Meanwhile, Richland put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page to the tune of 63-24.
Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter took their game against Richland the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 46-20 score. Whatever the outcome in this rematch, the matchup is bound to be a fierce one since these are two of the top teams in the state.
